Circuit Zones
Please note that your ticket includes a designated zone within the circuit, which is distinguished by it's own colour marking. To get to the designated zone, you must enter through the appropriate gate. While movement between zones is limited, every zone has its own fan zone with food, restrooms and official F1® merchandise. Here's an overview of the zones:
Re-entry: No re-entry allowed at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. Once you have entered the track, you cannot leave and return on the same day.
+Times, circuit zones, and access points are subject to change.
++Driver appearances in the Fan Zone are usually confirmed a few days before the race weekend.
+++Guests with children are strongly encouraged to keep a watchful eye as this is a busy area.
Citizens from more than 60 countries (including the USA, European Union, Australia, Canada & NZ) don’t need a visa to enter Mexico. Please click here for more information.
Note: You must check with local authorities. All requirements are subject to change.

Time Zone: UTC -6 hours
In an Emergency: Dial 911
Power Sockets: Type A and B, the same as in the USA.
Weather: Temperatures average a high of 23°C (74°F) and a low of 12°C (54°F). Rain and storms are not uncommon, so pack some waterproof clothing.
Currency: Mexican Peso ($MXN). You can pay with a card in most places across Mexico City, but it’s always a good idea to carry a little cash. ATMs are widely available.
Good to Know: Tap water in Mexico City is not safe for consumption; therefore, stick to bottled water. At 2,250 m (7,380 ft), give yourself 1–2 days to adjust, stay hydrated, limit sun exposure, and limit your alcohol intake.
Celebrate Día de los Muertos: From Oct. 31 to Nov. 2, Mexico celebrates Día de los Muertos, a holiday honouring loved ones who have passed. Experience the traditions and festivities by attending the 2026 Mega Catrinas Procession, the Día de los Muertos Parade, or the Coffee, Chocolate & Pan de Muerto Festival!
Eat Your Way Through Mexico City: No trip to Mexico City is complete without indulging in some of its incredible food! Grab tacos at El Califa de León or Tacos Don Juan, try the famous mole at Pujol, and satisfy your sweet tooth with churros from Churrería El Moro. Not sure where to start? Book a food tour and discover some of the city’s best bites with a local guide.
Discover Local Art & Museums: Visit the Frida Kahlo Museum and explore the charming Coyoacán neighbourhood while you’re there, or admire the architecture and art at the Palacio de Bellas Artes. And if you’re a cat lover, be sure to check out the Cat Museum for a unique addition to your adventure!

Public Transportation: Consisting of 12 colour-coded lines that serve different parts of the city and its suburbs, the most convenient way to get to Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez is via Mexico City’s efficient Metro system. When choosing between the metro and the metrobús on the way to the circuit, chose according to where your stand is located. Click here for an overview.
- For the Metro: Use the stops Velódromo, Ciudad Deportiva, and Puebla, which are on Line 9 (brown).
- For the Metro bus: Use the stops UPIICSA, and El Rodeo, which are on Line 2 (purple).
Taxi & Ride Sharing: Taxis and Uber are also available, but the traffic jams near the circuit on race weekend can cause sizable delays. Leave your car at home; there’s very limited parking close to the circuit.
Driving: Driving a car is generally a challenge in Mexico City and can be very challenging for individuals who are not locals. Therefore, consider whether you need to travel to the circuit on your own or a rental car. If you decide to do so, park ideally at one of the metro stops (Line 9).
