Google Maps: Suzuka Circuit
The Suzuka Circuit is located in a semi-rural, industrial area of the Mie Prefecture.
Click here for additional details on how to access Suzuka Circuit by train and bus.
Note: If you are traveling to the circuit for the whole race weekend, we recommend buying the 5-day Kintetsu Rail Pass , which will cover all your trips throughout the weekend.
Trains from Nagoya Station: A one-way trip to Shiroko Station takes just under an hour and there are regular services on Grand Prix weekend. Please click here for additonal details.
There are two hourly limited express train services to Shiroko Station. One is direct and the other requires a transfer at the Tsu Station. You will need to purchase and reserve your seat at least a day before you plan to travel. The ride takes approximately 100 minutes. Please click here for additonal details.
From Shiroko Station to Suzuka: Follow the signs in English for the shuttle buses, which take around 15 minutes to cover the 5km to Suzuka Circuit and cost under $10 return each day.
Leaving the Circuit: Anticipate long lines to board the train. There may be up to a 2 – 3 hour wait to leave the circuit on race day while all guests depart. Click here for the schedule, always subject to change.
The Suzuka Circuit is equipped with accessible facilities, including elevators, ramps, and designated seating areas for guests with disabilities.
For additional questions regarding accessibility, please call our Guest Services Team at +1 (888) 326-5430.
The closest airport to Suzuka is Chubu Centrair International Airport (NGO), which serves the nearby city of Nagoya and offers domestic, regional and long-haul connections. Popular direct routes from NGO include Tokyo, Seoul, Bangkok, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi and Frankfurt. Alternatively, you may fly into one of Japan’s larger hub airports; Tokyo’s Narita Airport (NRT) and Osaka’s Kansai Airport (KIX) have a wider selection of international flights. You can then take a domestic flight (e.g. Tokyo to Centrair), bullet train or bus to Suzuka.
If you’ve got access to the Champions Club or the Formula 1 Paddock Club™, you’ll need to make more of an effort to “look the part” than in a grandstand. Smart casual dress is recommended, which means long pants and a shirt or polo shirt for men and a dress, skirt or pants for women. The Champions Club and Formula 1 Paddock Club™ request that no jogging suits, shorts or beach attire be worn.
Read Your Ultimate Checklist for a Day at the Track for more information about what to wear to the track.
Many vendors and shops accept cashless payments, including credit cards, debit cards, and mobile payment systems like Suica and PayPay.
Children aged 3 and older require a ticket. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
First Aid Stations are available at multiple locations around the circuit. If you or someone near you requires immediate assistance, contact the nearest staff member or dial the emergency number provided at the circuit.
