Interlagos Circuit first made its way onto the F1® scene in 1973, and the local fans received the good fortune of seeing a Brazilian driver win his home race for the first three Grands Prix™ in Brazil. The circuit features a number of banked corners and a winding infield section.

A carnival-like atmosphere takes over during race weekend at the third race in the Americas triple-header. The Sprint Race has found a home in São Paulo in recent years, adding even more excitement to the action. The Grand Prix™ in São Paulo was voted the best race of the 2024 season by F1® fans, further cementing its place as a fan favourite and a highlight on the calendar.
