F1® confirms 2026 season calendar

24-date calendar includes new race in Madrid

The 2026 Formula 1® calendar has been revealed, with a record-tying 24 races on the schedule once again.

Season Starts in Melbourne

The season officially gets underway with a doubleheader beginning in Melbourne (8 Mar) and continuing in Shanghai the following weekend (15 Mar).

A stop in Suzuka comes two weeks later (29 Mar), followed by an April trip to the Middle East for a back-to-back in Bahrain (12 Apr) and Saudi Arabia (19 Apr).

Montréal and Monaco swap spots

May comes in hot when the cars go racing in Miami (3 May).

The grid will then head to Montréal (24 May) three weeks later, to complete its first visit to North America in one go.

June sees the start of European leg of the calendar, with Monaco (7 Jun) moving slightly later than usual.

F1® returns to Barcelona (14 Jun) the following weekend for the first of two races in Spain.

The European stretch continues on with Spielberg (28 Jun), Silverstone (5 Jul), Spa-Francorchamps (19 Jul), and Budapest (26 Jul) carrying into the three-week summer break.

Imola exits and Zandvoort celebrates its finale

Zandvoort (23 Aug) will prepare to host the final Dutch Grand Prix™ in 2026, which features a Sprint for the first time.

F1® will race in Italy only once next season when it heads to the legendary Monza Circuit (6 Sep), as the other Italian race in Imola was not extended beyond 2025.

Madrid (13 Sep) makes its debut on the calendar one week later as the final European race of the season.

It's then on to Baku (27 Sep) and Singapore (11 Oct) before the grid returns stateside.

Two tripleheaders to close out the season

Austin (25 Oct) comes calling to kick off the first of two tripleheaders which will wrap up the season.

Mexico City (1 Nov) and São Paulo (8 Nov) follow before a week-long break, and the teams then head to Las Vegas (21 Nov) for a Saturday night spectacle under the lights of the famed Strip.

It's a quick trip to the other side of the globe for a stop in Qatar (29 Nov).

The season then comes to a close with its now-traditional finale in Abu Dhabi (6 Dec).
