EXPLAINED - What is a Pit Lane Walk?

An F1® Pit Lane Walk is one of the most immersive trackside experiences available, giving fans a 30 to 60-minute window to walk down the Formula 1® pit lane and peek directly inside the team garages at any Grand Prix™ on the calendar. Instead of viewing the action from afar, you get a front-row look as mechanics assemble cars, refine aerodynamics, and run pit stop drills. It is also one of the best times during a Grand Prix™ weekend to spot F1® drivers, team bosses, and broadcast media working behind the scenes.

Depending on your F1® Experiences ticket package, there are three distinct ways to access the pit lane:

• Exclusive F1® Experiences Walk:** Accessible only to F1® Experiences package holders when the track is closed to the general public, usually on Thursday or Friday.

• Promoter Pit Lane Walk:** Co-hosted by the local circuit promoter and F1® Experiences, typically taking place on Thursday afternoon or evening.

• Paddock Club™ Pit Lane Walk:** Held multiple times throughout the race weekend between official track sessions, reserved exclusively for Paddock Club™ guests.

Key Benefits of the Pit Lane Walk

Unlike crowded general-admission walks, these ticketed options strictly limit guest numbers so you can take photos and watch garage operations without fighting through dense crowds. Depending on your package, your walk may also be combined with a Guided Track Tour or an official Championship Trophy Photo op.

Packages That Include Pit Lane Walks:

• Grandstand Packages:** Starter, Hero, Pit Lane, and F1® Experiences Live

• VIP Hospitality Packages:** F1 Paddock Club™, Legend, and F1® Garage Hospitality
