EXPLAINED - What is a Championship Trophy Photo?

A Championship Trophy Photo offers fans a rare opportunity to pose on the track with the authentic Formula 1 World Championship™ trophies, the same silver awards engraved with every World Champion driver and constructor since 1950. A professional photographer captures your photo on the circuit, providing a unique memento of your race weekend.

What are the Formula 1 World Championship™ Trophies?

Unlike standard podium trophies awarded after each race, these one-of-a-kind trophies represent the overall season drivers' and constructors' championships. Handed out officially at the annual end-of-season FIA Prize Giving Ceremony, the trophies travel to select Grands Prix™ under heavy security. Guests can pose alongside them, though touch is strictly restricted!

What Makes a Trophy Photo so Special?

• Rare Access: Very few fans ever get to see the actual World Championship trophies up close, making this one of the most exclusive photo opportunities of your weekend.

• On-Track Setting: Photos are taken directly on the iconic asphalt of the Grand Prix™, often on the Starting Grid or Main Straight.

• Professional Quality: A professional photographer captures the moment, with digital copies delivered to you after the race weekend.

Timing & Schedule Details

• Grandstand Experience Packages: The photo session typically occurs on Thursday or Friday evening, often scheduled alongside the Pit Lane Walk and Guided Track Tour.

• Champions Club Packages: Photos generally take place on Friday or Saturday evening directly on the Starting Grid at most races.

Exact times and on-track locations are confirmed and shared in your itinerary prior to the race weekend.
