The 2018 Canadian Grand Prix – In Pictures

Exclusive Pit Lane Walk, Trophy Photo Opportunity & Drive the Track Tour – Thursday

We kicked off our weekend in Montréal at the 2018 Canadian Grand Prix with an Exclusive Pit Lane Walk, where guests got an up-close, unobstructed view of team garages as they put the final touches to the cars before Friday’s practice sessions. From here, guests were directed to the famous starting grid, where they were able to pose for a photo with the race trophies – one for the photo album! Capping off an exciting open evening at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, guests were taken on an expert-led tour of the track with race drivers Sam Power and James Towers, as the pair talked each of our guests through every corner of the famous circuit.

Paddock Club Party with Esteban Ocon – Friday

Capping off a memorable night inside the ropes of Formula 1®, Force India’s Esteban Ocon joined us amidst the unique setting of the Formula One Paddock Club ™ to talk about his F1® career to date, how he has fared this season thus far with Force India and what the future holds for him. Following Ocon’s Q&A session, the French driver posed for photos and signed autographs, all while guests were wined and dined with the very best gourmet cuisine from world-renowned chefs.

Insider Access to the F1® Paddock – Friday

Following Friday’s on-track action, which saw Red Bull’s Max Verstappen top the time charts in both free practice sessions, guests gathered outside the famous F1® Paddock. With each group of guests led by an F1 Experiences member of staff, stops included a visit to the Team Haas garage, a stop for a chat with the much-loved and incredibly experienced F1 Safety Car driver Bernd Mayländer, a photo atop the famous F1 podium, the sight of countless celebratory scenes, an in-depth look at the Lauzon Porsche Supercar with Sam Power and a visit to the media center.

Champions Club – Saturday & Sunday

Situated perfectly at the infamous Wall of Champions where our guests could quite literally feel the cars thunder past them, we provided the very best hospitality and unprecedent race wins throughout the weekend. On top of this, guests were treated to an appearance by Sean Bratches, Formula One's Managing Director of Commercial Operations, who talked about what the future holds for F1 from a business and race development standpoint, potential new races for 2019 and beyond, and allowing teams to become more competitive on the grid.

After qualifying on Saturday, it was our privilege to welcome Montréal’s own Lance Stroll to our Champions Club. Carrying the hopes of a nation into Sunday’s race (which would ultimately end in disappointment following an impressive start), Stroll dissected some of the struggles which have faced his Williams Martini Racing team in 2018, and measures that have been taken to improve performance and individual goals for the year. Lance then took the time to engage with guests by signing autographs and posing for pictures – a memorable occasion for all!

Guided Paddock Access – Saturday & Sunday

An exclusive benefit for our Champion, Premier and Legend Ticket Package Holders, guests were treated to Guided Paddock Access, a tour led by an F1® Experiences member of staff through the most exclusive stretch of concrete at the circuit. Through this walking tour, guests were able to pose for some photos with some of F1’s biggest names, including four-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton, much to the delight of one of his biggest fans, McLaren’s Fernando Alonso, Sergio “Checo” Perez and Toro Rosso’s prodigious talent Pierre Gasly, among others.
