What is F1® Experiences Live?

Previously known as F1® Live On The Grid, F1® Experiences Live is an innovative trackside fan activation, bringing you closer to the world of Formula 1 via an interactive event with car displays, a host of big-name guests being interviewed on the big stage, plus a wide selection of food trucks and open bars*.

The action normally takes place on the starting grid or circuit during the early evening on Thursday of race weekend and features some of F1 Experiences' most popular activations. Our guests can take a guided tour of the circuit and have their photo taken with the official Formula 1 World Championship trophies during the event.

*Due to local licensing laws, alcohol is not served during F1® Experiences Live in Canada.

Why is it worth attending F1® Experiences Live?

Without a fixed schedule – apart from the speakers appearing on the stage – you are free to roam around during F1® Experiences Live, take part in the experiences on offer at your leisure, and grab a drink and something to eat.

Guest numbers during F1® Experiences Live are limited to reduce queues and ensure a great experience for all. Pasts guests who've joined us on-stage during F1® Experiences Live have included current and former F1 drivers such as Lando Norris, Romain Grosjean and Felipe Massa, as well as Sky Sports F1 commentators David Croft and Martin Brundle.

Up-and-coming drivers and regular guests such as F1’s ‘virtual statman’ Sean Kelly and the official Formula 1 Safety Car driver Bernd Mayländer may also appear. During F1® Experiences Live, our Expert Hosts are on hand to give you a closer look at an official F1 steering wheel, driver helmet and racing suit, while static displays have included original examples of some of the most iconic F1 cars of all time.

How can I gain entry to F1® Experiences Live?

Entry to Thursday night's event is a standard inclusion with F1® Experiences Live Ticket Packages (previously known as Trophy and Hero Ticket Packages). Depending on the race location, entry to F1® Experiences Live may also be included with additional Official Ticket Packages from F1 Experiences.

Where can I attend F1® Experiences Live?

F1® Experiences Live will take place at the largest and most popular races on the 2023 Formula 1 calendar, including the Miami Grand Prix, Canadian Grand Prix, British Grand Prix, Dutch Grand Prix, United States Grand Prix and Mexico City Grand Prix. Selected packages are now on sale for 2023.
