Where to Watch the Action at the 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix

Since joining the Formula 1 calendar in 2004, the Bahrain Grand Prix has established itself as a favourite among drivers and fans. The race is well organised, the circuit is modern and holding the race under lights has really improved the spectacle!

Bahrain International Circuit (also known as “Sakhir”) was designed by Hermann Tilke and built from scratch in just 16 months for $150m USD. Since 2014, the race has followed the lead of Singapore and moved to a later timeslot under lights, which has really improved the spectator experience at the circuit. Not only do the cars look great under lights, the night time temperatures are also much more comfortable for fans. The good news is that all the grandstands at the Bahrain International Circuit offer good viewing opportunities, many over several sections of the track.

Here’s the best places to watch the action at the 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix on 19-22 March.

Main Grandstand

The Main Grandstand is located on the start/finish straight, opposite the team garages. These seats are best for fans who want to check out all the action in the pits (including pitstops), soak up the pre-race atmosphere, and have the best view of the race start and podium celebrations. A seat in the Main Grandstand is included with Hero Ticket Packages, which also include exciting trackside activities on Thursday and Friday. Meanwhile, Premier Ticket Packages include Friday access to the Formula 1 Paddock Club and a seat in the Main Grandstand on Saturday and Sunday.

Victory Grandstand

Located on the final part of the circuit, the two Victory Grandstands have views of the final series of corners at the Bahrain International Circuit. Both grandstands have big screen TVs in front of them. Get a seat in the Victory Grandstand with a Starter Ticket Package from F1 Experiences! Other benefits include a Guided Track Tour, Exclusive Pit Lane Walk and Starting Grid Photo with Trophy.

Turn 1 Grandstand

Get a ringside seat for the first lap of the race! The Turn 1 Grandstand is located on the approach to the first corner, and you’ll also have a more distant view of the cars traveling down as far as Turn 4. This is a great vantage point for overtaking; remember Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton’s “duel in the desert” in 2014? A seat in the Turn 1 Grandstand is available with Trophy Ticket Packages. Other benefits include F1 Insider Access and a Paddock Club Reception with a current or legendary Formula 1 driver!

Formula 1 Paddock Club

Get the best view in the house, right above the pit garages! Enjoy all-day VIP hospitality with open bar and fine dining, plus daily pit lane walks and live entertainment, including driver interviews. Flexible 1, 2- or 3-Day Access to the Formula 1 Paddock Club is available with Premier, Paddock Club and Legend Ticket Packages from F1 Experiences, including exclusive benefits such as access to the F1 Paddock and post-race podium ceremony.
